Abstract
Traditional craft villages play a vital role in the development of rural Vietnam. They have created millions of well-paid jobs and helped enhance the rural life. Yet, the number of researches on traditional craft villages could be only counted on the fingers of one hand, especially quantitative ones. By this paper, we would like to prove that the human capital and family traditions are decisive factors which impinge on the size, product quality and marketing strategies silk producing concerns in Vạn Phúc Village in the North Vietnam.

Abstract
In the past two decades, establishment and development of industrial parks, originating from the economic reform, has helped form a modern infrastructure, expand sources of finance and affect favorably the economic growth and changes in the structure of industry, and create new jobs in Vietnam. There have been numerous studies of economic efficiency of industrial parks, but their effects on quality of life of local communities have not been fully examined, especially in quantitative aspect. This problem has become a challenge to researchers and policy makers in Vietnam. To help solve it, authors have conducted a case study in Beán Tre with a view to collecting data and evidence from reality and this article tries to present a quantitative model of factors affecting the community satisfaction and some policy suggestions for local authorities.

Abstract
"With appropriate research methods, this article analyzes the needfor cooperation and proposes some essential solutions to the development of cooperation economy in the agricultural production of farming households in Châu Thành District, Hậu Giang Province.
In general, 88% of the farming households are in need of cooperation in the process of agricultural production. As for fruit-growing households, the percentage is 84% and for rice-growing ones, this need is even higher because 92% of them would like to cooperate with others. The reason for cooperation is that the process of rice growing requires many stages that cannot be postponed. In addition, rice- growing depends heavily on the weather.
There are two short-term and seven long-term solutions to development of cooperation economy in the agricultural sector of Chaâu Thaønh District in line with the cooperation need of the farming households

Abstract
Bình Phước is the Vietnam's biggest exporter of cashew with an export volume of 167,000 tonnes of cashew nut in 2008 and 170,000 tonnes in 2009 earning some US$850 million. However, almost export cashew products are semi-processed ones and the competitiveness of the existing cashew- exporting enterprises is considerably limited. Therefore, studying and proposing solutions their competitiveness is an urgent issue of today.

Abstract
Social capital is an important resource that receives inadequate attention from economic researchers and corporate managers because of lack of a framework for analysis under Vietnamese conditions. This research begins with an overview of theories of sociology and empirical economics in recent years. Basic characteristics of the social capital of companies found by these theories are network structure and quality of the network of companies. The research then combines theories of social capital and modern theories of business administration to work out methods of measuring the social capital of companies in three aspects: internal social capital, external social capital and social capital of corporate leadership. Finally, the research tries to build a framework for analysis of social capital and its effects on overall performance of the company through improvements in corporate competence (effective use of organizational resources) and entrepreneurship of managers.
