This research is to ponder the relationship between the organizational culture and the business performance. Around 300 respondents are randomly chosen from HCMC-based companies. The authors have found out four cultural factors affecting the business performance of HCMC-based companies and accordingly raise some solutions to the improvement in their performance.

Export of Vietnamese timber and wooden product has increased year by year. In the period 2004-2008, on average, export turnover increased by 25.7% annually. However, in 2009, this figure fell to 8.2% due to the impact of the global economic crisis. A deeper analysis of the export of this line of product throughout the years would point out that the cause of the unsustainable growth comes from the fact that a supply chain, in its true form, has not yet been set up. This paper analyses the set up of and participation in the supply chain of Vietnamese wooden product export enterprises.

"The EU comprises 27 member countries with a total area of four million square kilometers and a population of some 500 million people. Personal there is rather high in comparison with other blocs. EU peoples like seafood because of its taste and nutrients. Per capita demand for seafood in the bloc is about 26.3 kg per year (FAOSTAT 2005). Because of its unfavorable geographical position and climate and limited aquatic resources, the EU has to adopt measures to limit fishing business while the demand for seafood is still on the increase. This situation forces it to import seafood from America and Asia, including Vietnam. "

Agricultural productivity is a decisive factor in improvements in competitiveness and peasants' income, therefore, enhancing quickly the agricultural productivity is the key to developing the agriculture during the international integration process. Looking for scientific measures to improve the labor productivity is a challenge to policy makers. The paper concentrates on three main issues: a quantitative model of related factors, results applied to reality and suggestion about measures to increase the agricultural productivity.
